The total number of seats for admission to the first year foundation class is 40. The division of the above seats is as under

Painting 20 seats
Applied Art 20 seats

The merit list of admission to the first year foundation class will be made in two separate groups as indicated above.

The candidates should apply in the prescribed application form attached to the prospectus available in the college. The last date for receiving application is 10th June. This date may be extended by the principal.

Eligibility:

Nationality: The applicant must a citizen of India (except those nominated by the Govt. of India)

AGE: No age limit for admission to BFA course has been prescribed

ACADEMIC: A candidate seeking to the First Year Foundation Course for the degree of Fine Art must have
(a) Passed the Xth Standard Examination of the Goa SSC Board or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto with English as a subject and have obtained 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. A candidate who has secured less than 45% marks may also apply. However, he/she will be eligible for admission only if he/she secures 60% marks or more in the Aptitude Test conducted by the college

(b) The candidate must have passes in each of the subjects of Aptitude Test conducted by the college. This Entrance Aptitude Test is conducted at the time of the admission.

(c) The following true copies of certificates should be attached to the application form.

Birth Certificate
Xth Std.(SSCE) Passing Certificate
Xth Std (SSCE) Mark Sheet
Residential certificate
In case of reserved category candidates all relevant Certificates, documents required to validate the status will have to be produced in the prescribed formats.
